NTAG 223/224 DNA adds SUN (Secure Unique NFC) message capability — generating a cryptographically signed, unique URL on every tap for server-side authenticity verification. NTAG 213/215/216 store static data only and cannot detect cloning.
Each tap generates a unique, encrypted URL that can be verified server-side to confirm the tag is genuine and track scan location and count — making counterfeiting virtually impossible.
NTAG 223 DNA has 144 bytes of user memory. NTAG 224 DNA has 208 bytes, allowing more data to be stored alongside the SUN security feature.
