Union Smart manufactures premium NXP MIFARE Plus EV1, EV2, SE, S, and X series smart cards for B2B enterprises and system integrators globally. Operating at the standard 13.56MHz frequency, these AES-128 encrypted RFID cards serve as the ultimate security upgrade path for legacy MIFARE Classic systems. Fully backward compatible with existing readers, they provide a seamless transition to high-security access control, public transit fare collection, and closed-loop cashless payment systems. Benefit from our factory-direct wholesale pricing, OEM custom printing, and bulk chip encoding with MOQs starting at 1,000 pcs.

The NXP MIFARE Plus family is specifically engineered for organizations seeking to upgrade their vulnerable MIFARE Classic infrastructure without the enormous cost of replacing existing RFID card readers and door locks.
By offering AES-128 cryptographic security alongside backward compatibility (Security Level 1), MIFARE Plus cards can be issued to employees and users immediately, working flawlessly on old readers until the backend system is ready to switch to high-security AES mode (Security Level 3).

We supply the complete range of MIFARE Plus chips tailored to your specific security and storage capacity needs:

As a factory-direct OEM partner, Union Smart provides full personalization for your enterprise rollout:

MIFARE Plus chips feature multiple security levels. Out of the box, they can run in "Security Level 1" which makes them behave exactly like older MIFARE Classic 1K/4K cards. This allows you to issue them to staff immediately. Once you upgrade your backend software and readers, you simply send a command to permanently switch the cards to "Security Level 3", activating AES-128 encryption.
A relay attack is a sophisticated hacking method where attackers use transceivers to trick a reader into thinking a valid card is nearby when it is actually far away. The MIFARE Plus X series includes "Proximity Checks" that measure the exact communication time, preventing these attacks. This is crucial for high-security government and financial facilities.
Yes. Because MIFARE Plus uses AES-128 encryption, it prevents card cloning and skimming. This makes it a highly secure and reliable choice for closed-loop payment systems like university cafeteria billing or stadium food vending.
