Contactless RFID / NFC Metal Card

A metal card with embedded NFC or RFID chip for contactless applications. Compatible with standard 13.56MHz readers (MIFARE, NTAG, DESFire) and 125kHz systems. Used for premium membership cards, hotel key cards, access control, and corporate ID.

Dual-Interface Metal Card

Supports both contact (ISO 7816) and contactless (ISO 14443A) interfaces in a single card — compatible with chip-and-PIN terminals and contactless readers simultaneously. Suited for financial services, banking, and high-security enterprise deployments.

Magnetic Stripe Metal Card

Metal card with HiCo or LoCo magnetic stripe, for compatibility with legacy swipe-card systems. Can be combined with NFC or contact chip for multi-function configurations.

Materials & Construction

Our metal cards use a PC (polycarbonate) and flexible stainless steel construction, laminated to standard credit card dimensions: 85.5 × 54 × 0.9mm (±0.04mm). The result is a card with the weight and feel of metal, the same dimensions as a standard credit card, and the flexibility to survive everyday wallet use without cracking.

The NFC antenna is embedded inside the card body during lamination — no exposed components, no signal degradation from the metal layer.

Will the cards work with my existing readers?

Our cards support 13.56MHz (MIFARE, NTAG, DESFire) and 125kHz (EM4200, TK4100, HID) frequencies, covering the vast majority of access control and loyalty systems. Tell us your reader model or system and we'll confirm compatibility.

Do the metal cards work with smartphones?

Yes. Cards with NTAG 213/215/216 chips are compatible with iOS 13+ and Android 5.0+ smartphones for tap-to-share applications such as digital business cards and landing pages.

Is Union Smart branding on the final product?

No. All cards are produced as white-label / OEM — your artwork, your branding, no Union Smart markings on the finished card.

What customization options are available?

We offer full surface customization including laser engraving, UV printing, silk-screen printing, PVD color coating, embossed numbering, QR/barcode, hologram, and signature panels. Both sides of the card can carry full custom artwork.
